Cletion Rocha Wins New England 9 Ball Series

16 of the strongest players came out to play for the $600.00 in prize money up for grabs. Here are some of the notables that attended: Rick Gatta, Paul McCafrey, Dave Fernandez, and Sam Khiev.

Hot seat match was Cletion Rocha vs. a new comer from Maine - Kevin Williams

Cletion was playing very well and would take this set 7-3. On the one loss side was Sam Khiev who just dusted off last year’s player of the year Dave Fernandez 7-4. Sam would have met his match and he would have to settle for 3rd place in his 7-2 loss to Kevin Williams.

The Finals

The first set was a nail bitter between Cletion and Kevin and Kevin would win 7-6 and force a second set The second set was no different than the first - it would go the distance and Cletion would get this one 7-6 for his first victory of the season.
